This is a piece I created for OnSide, a national youth center in the U.K. The most important aspect of OnSide to me is the children it serves. Through the platform provided by OnSide, these children are rediscovering themselves and pursuing their dreams in a safe environment. They are surrounded by friends, making new connections, and have access to all the equipment, musical instruments, and art supplies they need. One of my closest friends grew up without access to something like OnSide, and the feelings of helplessness and loneliness have stayed with her throughout her life. Working on this artwork for OnSide has been a deeply meaningful experience for me, as I hope that all children who need help and support will receive the assistance they require.
